Musings by a 'single' church planter about the state of the internet and its effect upon the Church today.

Name:
Location: Texas

I am a 'native Texan' that loves travelling. Every where I go, I meet people that desire a deeper spiritual meaning to their lives. I ENJOY watching God's people respond to His call and watching God grow His churches. Can you tell that God has called me to plant churches?

The good news

The good news (or the fancy word evangelism) is all about 'how' we got here and 'why' we are here. Unfortunately, religion usually gets in the way of the 'good' in the good news. Too often, bad religion chooses to lead people in a direction that is not 'good' for them. At least that direction is not good for them eternally.

Just a quick thought on the evolution of religion(s).

For the evolutionist: Why did religion evolve? What survival instinct does it fulfill? How did faith evolve? What survival instinct does it fulfill?

For those that seek God . . . can there really be more than One God? Wouldn't we expect to go back through all of those different forces and spirits that we call 'gods' and find that there is One God that started the whole process? Would we expect our 'gods' to have evolved, or do we expect that our 'gods' were started?
