Musings by a 'single' church planter about the state of the internet and its effect upon the Church today.

Name:
Location: Texas

I am a 'native Texan' that loves travelling. Every where I go, I meet people that desire a deeper spiritual meaning to their lives. I ENJOY watching God's people respond to His call and watching God grow His churches. Can you tell that God has called me to plant churches?

God is good

Ya' know, God is really good. After a 13 hour day, I get to come home and relax. With a smile on my face, I know that God has been really good to me.

Yes, I do hurt. I hurt all the time, but I got to a point in life, and I realized that I could serve God or serve despair.

He is good. And He hasn't let me miss a meal yet!

houses and taxes

Whew!!!

I had no idea that taxes cost more than houses. Evidently the tax man forgot that we are not supposed to be over taxed.

Oh well, the next step is starting a bible study and a church . . . God giveth and the tax man taketh. . .

But, now that God has given me a beautiful house . . . it is time to give it to Him. If only the tax man would send Him the tax bill.

Mothers are a blessing from God!

I have a great mother. Yet today is melancholy for me as I miss both of my grandmothers.

On the one hand it seems it would be nice if we could live on this earth forever, but getting older and living with more and more pain, would quickly make that life misserable. So, in this life, loosing loved ones is a bitter sweet part of living.

And God still gives us mothers. My mother is a great mother. Loving and kind and hard working, she is what so many people do not have. Oh, how I wish that everyone would have a moher that they could truly love and respect.

My mother is one of those blessings from God that I count almost daily.
